Cristal Jones, photographer and journalist

Cristal Jones was born and raised in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, a small town named after a 1950's TV game show. Cristal grew up on a small farm where she and her family raised sheep for many years. She attended college at New Mexico State University and obtained a degree in Journalism and Spanish. Cristal worked as a reporter and anchor for PBS for three years, and at her hometown newspaper. She has always had an interest in photography and the outdoors.

Cristal and her boyfriend moved to Whitefish, Montana in 2006 and is employed by the Hungry Horse News. The town of Hungry Horse is adjacent to Glacier Park. Part of her job at the Hungry Horse newspaper includes hiking and photographing Glacier National Park.
