Their name can be a misnomer because black bears
can be other colors like brown or cinnamon and some even have
white patches on their torso. Black bears are very territorial.
Even though they are classified as carnivores, only 25% of their
diet is meat. Usually they eat vegetable and plant bits and
pieces. Black Bears are solitary and are active in the morning,
late evening and night. They can be found throughout the park.
